Our PreK programs consists of developmentally appropriate curriculum which is grounded in
the importance of faith development. We offer materials, activities and interactions that nourish faith development. Daily Prayer is an important part of our school day. Praying
special intentions each class is a way for children to become more aware of the needs of
others in their community. We explore and learn about the liturgical seasons of the Catholic Church throughout the school year.
A child-play centered environment encourages children to develop a strong positive self-concept, appropriate self-control and growth in their awareness of the feelings of others.
Social development is a vital component in gaining confidence and independence. Students have the opportunity to strengthen social and emotional skills while learning to use their
words to express their ideas and thoughts.
Students develop alphabet, phonemic awareness and developmentally appropriate writing activities while working on literacy development. Experimental and exploration activities are provided that engage children in mathematical and scientific discovery. We focus on
activities which will provide opportunities for a student to acquire the skills needed to enter Kindergarten, gain confidence about themselves as they discover the world around them.
